Not sure I can help, but you might be asking the wrong hivemind, I'd imagine that we're not the sort of demographic that has a huge proportion of Girls Aloud fans.  Still, someone will know.

I did a trawl of the internet, but came up with nothing. None of the bands you mentioned covered S.O.S. by ABBA. I think Jimbo's probably right - we're all too old here to know what you're talking about.

I'll have you know that I saw Girls Aloud in concert some years back.  They were very pretty.  I didn't notice if they sang, sorry 'performed', any songs, but they definitely had nice legs.

I heard some song being heard at my local pub last Sunday while playing Pool. There was a Birthday party on and I heard a song that sounded like the aforementioned bands, all vague recollections really!!!
