Christ, Mike -- how the hell did you get to that when it meets literally none of the already vague description given at the top of the thread?!

Cheers

I'll carry the thread on-

Years ago, there was a sub-Spice Girls girlband, with (I think) three bored Tesco's shopgirls in ill-fitting "sexy" clothes and crap hair, all with faces like bags of spanners, who did a song that featured them miming "yapping" (with their hands, in a dismissive way) while "singing":

"Meh-neh-meh-neh, don't get fresh with me"

It was the single worst thing I'd ever seen at the time, and I'd dearly love to know what it was.

Any ideas?

I think the song you're after might be the Rihanna one that samples Tainted Love.

All of human perversity is summed up in that one sentence!

Eric Plumrose

Jim's stone ramming and TordelBack's absurd assertion that Nadine has nice pins reminded me that the Girls Aloud single 'No Good Advice' has an infuriatingly familiar guitar solo which still continues to elude me but is, nonetheless, somewhat reminiscent of 'Temple of Love'. Well, y'know. Kinda.

Which is a very long-winded way of asking someone to explain THIS to me:

Not sure if pervert or cheesecake expert.

By the way, the song The Artist Formerly Known as Spooky is looking for is No Way, No Way by no-hit wonders Vanilla.

There are children present, so I'll have to wait til later to check that out- BUT- I am forever in your debt, sir. Marvellous! As an encore, I don't suppose you know where my London A-Z is at the moment, or where the copy of 'Wasabi' one of my clients recently lost has gotten to, do you?

oh that's truly horrible. They even sound bored doing it.

Wasn't that Vanilla song the result of a bet between two record producers to get the shittest record possible to number 1?

SmallBlueThing

<satire> and theyve been playing the same bet every week since. </satire> <kids today> <tch>
