So... I have gotten a cluster of PS2 games and amongst them is WWZero by of course Rebellion. To me all first person shooters may as well be Quake MCLXXXII as they all seem the bloody same to me. Except the Dredd v Death. And maybe some Bonds. But... Back to the point...Is it any good??

Saving/loading's shite (it won't load mid-game, you HAVE to load at the main menu), other than that quite good.

All first person shooters the same!? Sweet Baby J! Have you never played unreal tournament, timesplitters 2 or even Goldeneye! All bench mark releases and totally different in gameplay (Eg goldeneye=stealth, Unreal=futuristic violence in the name of entertainment) Look at the sheer range of options for Timesplitters 2! I still play the game to this day. Quite possibly the best FPS ever released and well worth hunting down for the PS2. Never played World War Zero, but trust me, Timesplitters 2 is the daddy of FPS.

WWZero was good fun, as I recall, until the final boss who I never bothered figuring out how to finish off.  Until then, though, I was quite happy with the game (but then I had only paid 15 quid for it).

Timesplitters 2 is a great multiplayer, but TS3 is the best single-player experience, with great variety in enemies, levels and bosses.  For the antithesis of the Halo experience (where no amount of blindly running towards something shooting like buggery will cause you to be killed unless you are a complete and utter gibbon), there's Killzone, a game where taking cover and being crafty is essential - right up until you get the option to control the huge marine with a minigun grafted to his arm and march through the rest of the game never taking your finger off the fire button.
Half Life is worth a look, too, as copies go for about 3 quid the last time I saw them knocking about.

15 quid!!?? Proffessor Bear, you're a f**king marine.

I have got Timesplitters 2 in this very same cluster. Your very determined (albeit inebriate Bo) bleetings, in its cause has swayed me to play. Soon.

But loading and saving for WWZ is a problem you could easily get with Red Faction. If, indeed,  you are the very same gibbon who forgets to save, whenever he wishes..to, BSC.
