What Goggans of 30 letter fame? Pah he'd be lucky to secure a spot on the roof rack with that feeble effort.

I think it's Floyd that you want to suggest but I was refering to Megazine letter only!

Quoteby the time the bus got to me the smell of B.O. and Wotsits would be intolerable!

He's right guys- you won't much care for the smell o' weegies, especially after their dinner.

Just a little rough and tumble, Judge man.

Latest update.

Okay everyone this is what we need to do, so gather round.

First off, the minibus (sorted once we confirm numbers, but I think if we could get 14 on board we should go for the 17 seater. More space for all our gear and things) I will pay for this up front and when we actually arrive at Inverness we can see how much fuel we have used and divide the cost between us then. It'll be easier this way.

Next up is the lodgings. Now has anyone been up there before, as it would be good if we could all get into 1 B&B or a load near each other.

Next up would be if all who are definately going could pm me there real names, address's and phone numbers (mobile would be best).

Once we start to get the confirmations in we can plan the route. Sadly some people will have to get along to the nearest pick up location as even I can't drive for 24 hours.
At the moment I'm thinking of leaving at 04:00, so if you live near me you'll be getting up early, yes that's you Large48.

Anyway that's it for now.

Hi folks I'm going to be in Inverness tomorrow and I'll see if I can get to a few B+B's for you. I think it's a great idea to get a minibus for the trip. I was at both the previous Hi-Ex Cons and they were pretty cool.

Cheers Dangermouse3597 that's a great help. I've looked at the tourist info site but first hand knowledge always beats that.

Early  bookings will help- I was late booking last year and was lucky to get a place.I'm sure I linked some nearby B&Bs on last years thread. I'll do some checking back and link it here.

locustsofdeath!

What are the exact dates? I'll do some investigating for B&Bs as well.

Here are the dates

Now I did watch this on ebay but there was no way I was going to be allowed to bid for it but this would have been the perfect vehicle for the journey, well for about 4 of us ;D

That's exactly what came to mind when it was mooted! Can't you get it anyway and do an 'A-Team' with your army knowledge, to make room for another ten or so?

I presume now is too late to put my hand up?  If it is, good luck to you all and I'll find another (less fun) way up there.
