Arma 2 was pretty good. i wonder how it will match up?
The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

So do I - just ordered it!  :) I presumed there would be yet another delay and it would be like the endless saga of Duke Nuke em once again.

It has arrived. Mmmm okay so far graphics a bit colourless or greyed out deliebrately so at the start. Annoying for me you have to command troops at which I am an unmitigated diasaster. Only played one game so far but even though I'd completed part of it when I got killed I went back to the start! Also I found that when I had completed a game it didn't seem to unlock the next game. I hope it's not a glitch.

Fairly deadly but Arma 2 was alot deadlier. Th e command functions I found difficult as you have to remember to press "Q" or else you'll issue some unfortunate orders.

Still calling in heavy artillery on a village full of enemies was a -ahem-blast! ;D

more later if still alive...

You did the smart thing Mogzilla, it is fairly buggy as well as difficult to issue proper commands even after a bit of experience. I'll persevere as I have the mission editor working finally-the real reason i got the game!

the campaign game is also quite strict not really much choice I felt.

I'm rather enjoying it, meself. Much like its predecessor, it's a MAN's game, for real MEN. That having been said, the campaign isn't half as good as the one on the original, which gradually introduced you to all the concepts by starting you off as an ordinary grunt, meaning you basically had to just follow orders for the first few missions.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

This may be slightly off-topic, but does anyone know how to get past the, um, assault course in the original Operation Flashpint?

There's a bit were you have to run to a post or something, but the instructor never seems to realise I've done it.
