Wife, bought me a nintendo WII, for our wedding anniversary.

so as money is no object as its a Jack Dancer specail.  ::)
name those games i should be getting.
it cannot go online of course, one of the restrictions of such value dollar games.

offer me shooters,
(I have the automatic rifle in Black i feel like a real man now)

offer me great party games

offer me laugh out loud moments.

we have a 360 so the serious stuff is covered, this is purely for fun.
we have
WII sports
Mario Kart
Trauma Centre
Animal crossing
Raymond Rabbids (1)
chronicles ?
I AM VERY BUSY!
PJ Maybe and I use the same dictionary, live with it.

NO 2000ad no life!

COMMANDO FORCES

There is only one game, 'ROGUE TROOPER' and obviously Wii Fit for a great laugh and some family competition. Those step ups are the major battle in our house, I lead on everything and one of the step games at the mo. I shall lead on the other one soon'ish.
By the way get all your missus's mates round to do the jogging and watch with a glass of wine and enjoy ;)

House of the Dead: Overkill, for mad fantastic over-the-top sweary Grindhouse zombie-shootin' action.

Super Mario Galaxy, without a doubt the greatest platformer of this generation bar none.

Resident Evil 4, which on the Wii has an absolutely cracking control system and is well good.
Nobody warned me I would be so awesome.

Buddy

Excellent DD!

Post your wii code here and I'll add it to my friends list.. maybe get a game online with you (mario kart?).

I like Tiger woods 09.. get that and we can go head to head!

BOOMBLOX is a pretty good physics based puzzler.  Well, I say puzzler but actually you are mostly throwing balls at big stacks of blocks and watching them fall down.

It's remarkably good fun and chock full of character - we keep coming back to it.

I understand there's a sequel out which ramps up the multiplayer and party game aspects of it so that might be worth considering.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

Devons Daddy

sadly cannot go online,
we have the not modified xbox 360 for that, devonsdaddy1

1.Singapore is not on the WII nintendo network
2.i get my games for just over 2 pounds sterling each.  ::)

i have in the past and shall again be paying full price for rogue trooper.i have always done that for rebellion games, its a personal decision. a nod to supporting 2000ad.

Both BOOMBLOX games are great.

So far there's only been 3 wii games I've been fussed about, Rogue Trooper (obviously), Super Mario Galaxy (also fairly obvious) and No More Heroes, which is CRACKING. You can also get it for about £0 because no-one bought it. RESULT!

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is arguably the best multiplayer game on the Wii. It's non-stop beat-em-up fun with all of the most famous Nintendo characters, plus two special guest characters. It's got a HUGE ammount of unlockable content, including trophies, music and new levels. It's got a fun single-player game, it's got a whole bnch of different fun modes, it supports the Gamecube controller and the classic controller, you can make your own levels...

It's quite good.

Loving FIFA 10 on the wii at the moment.
Madworld is just amazing - but not good if you have kids in the house.
You said you had Raving Rabbids, but the second one on the wii is loads of jumping around like an idiot fun.
Mortal Kombat Annihilation is MK-Porn if you were ever into these types of games.
Smackdown vs Raw is also a laugh after the pub with some mates.

Most of my wii usage at the moment though is on guitar hero games.

Devons Daddy

thankyou for the reccomended titles

bought them all! and thirty additional ones.
Ghost Squad = litterally the arcade game, on your plasma tv! also bought the heavy assault rifle to complete the experience in gun metal BLACK, worth a few groats that one.

Trauma Centre 2, DR Devons Daddy is about to use the paddles, CLEAR!!!!

animal crossing. i understand the appeal.

Tiger woods 2010. like the real thing, frustrating, annoying, but that one sweet kiss.enough to make any golfers day.
WII resort, plus motion plus, great fun
ROGUE TROOPER, difficult at first until you get the hang of the controls, then I AM ON NU EARTH.
WII, outstanding fun, truly outstanding. four player mario kart.enough to make you laugh until you cry.

Rayman Rabbids 2 and TV,not played them yet. but looking forward to it.

THANKS BOARD. as always you point me in the right direction.

I got an awesome wii purchase last week.

Official Rock Band drum kit for £20 off Amazon. Took it to my folks on the weekend and my dad (who drummed with a band in his teens) got to drum along to the Beatles.
Loving it at the moment.

My other big wii thing is Biggest Loser. Its like wii fit but less floaty music and "what would you like to do next" and more "This aint a buffet fat ass, you dont get to pick, now give me 10 push ups!"
Makes you swear a lot but am kinda feeling the benefit... once I get feeling back.

Oh, and watching the wife playing "Just Dance" .....mmmmmmmmmm   :P

Dude please!
I have the utmost respect for your Missus from her pod casts and her stint on ECBT2000ad and while I am very pleased you are happily married I am trying to avoid mental images of you enjoying your husbandly perks and letching as she uses a dance matt. It is very off putting

Get Resident Evil, The Darkside Chronicles. It's a great shooter, with some superb graphics.
Pro Evolution Soccer is my preferred football game, if you're into that.
Medal Of Honour: Modern Conflict also looks great, but I've yet to play it as I'm hoping to get it for Christmas from the missus. Anyone played it yet? How's it compare to the 360 version?
