Inspired by some titan books I ordered some big finish cds ( first 2 ) and they are ACE !

Really top quality box with top cover and graphic work that matches on the cd as well - very smart looking.

one question - its set in 2143 april with judge amy steel - are these old stories or future ones ?

amy steel is kewl - any chance of her in the comic !

Well, another hour or so.  There's some newspaper strips (starting at ?15 for two - featuring mean machine), robohunter (proper robohunter) starting at ?30 and pages of b/w dredd from pre 520 2000AD, some of it from 1977.

I've bought a couple of pieces from Mr Gibson and they come with a certificate of authenticity and quite frankly look bloody marvellous.

So if you are interested, head over to e-bay and type ian gibson in the search.

Cheers

paul

now lets not carreid away here
i totally agree the big finish cds are good, they get better as they go and to be honest the SD was superb,
i have mail order subscription with them and am currently lookign forward the next realease any day now,.

but as for amy steel, no not in tooth eh. she is good but only in the context of the spoken word, in the real world of tooth she would be dead by now.

now i read that and get concerned how seriously i take all this sometimes,
wheres my halo jones book gone?

This week's Dredd story 'happened' in 2124AD...
Just add 122 years to the prog's coverdate.

The Dredd audios ran alongside current strip stories in terms of continuity i.e. the CD is designed to slot in between the progs published the month th CD is released.

Death Trap is the exception - it takes place before My Name Is Death, for obvious reasons.

As for the fate of Amy Steel - dramatic events overtake that character in the next release, Get Karter. I'll leave the rest to your imagination.

Any relation to Becky Steel? If my memory serves me correctly, she did have a sister.

davidbishop

Amy Steel is no relation to Becky or Treasure Steel, who are sisters. Treasure is usually seen helping Armitage in the comic, while Becky transferred to the Pan-African Judges.

Armitage appears in Get Karter, but Treasure does not - she's away visiting her sister!

My brother was always Judge Steel when we used to play the GamesWorkshop board rpg thingy.  He was a man-judge though.

As this was before Armitage was written, I doubt my brother's Steel was related to them either.

OOps, that was a disappointingly small pic, I meant to post this one.
