Thanks Jayzus, have you had some goes at them?

Here's another elaborate one from back in the day. A spaceport, I guess. And a hovering alien skull, because... just because.

Will you please stop being so good and give the rest of us a chance.

Le Fink I take it you had a lot of free time back in the day or did you just knock these up in a spare 5 minutes you had 👍🏻😁

Hey Sharkey, thanks - and... sorry...!  :-[

I was quite the shy introvert in my late teens and early twenties and as McFad suggests I did spend a lot of my spare time drawing, drawing, drawing sci-fi and fantasy type scenes. It's been interesting to discover some of them again.

But yeah I have slapped several things on here and gone "look at these!" with no context and in a fairly blithe "it's no bother!" way but be in no doubt these took me far too much time and effort back then.

(In case you missed it these are pieces I did about 30 years ago)

Sorry - I didn't mean to be mean. Just expressing my jealousy at your expertise! Please ignore me and continue posting.

Another gem there, absolutely lovely.  To answer your question... kind of. I work sometimes for a guy that runs a Crystal Maze style set of games rooms, and painted some creatures there that looked a bit like xenomorphs, but keeping the right side of copyright laws (not to mention making versions that are easier to paint).  Sadly I don't have photos - it was a long time ago and the man in question doesn't really like me to share views of the games rooms.

Coincidentally I was painting there yesterday, again dancing round copyright laws with a sort of Willy Wonka and a kind of Oompa Loompa, only a bit different.
