I was never good enough to play on the pub team, but back in the day I spent years hanging around a pool-playing pub, so I know that sweet feeling when every shot just works - three games on was about the best I ever managed (plus one flukey and lucrative win on the Sunday lunchtime Killer competition)

Starting a three week holiday today. The wife and I are celebrating 20 years married by heading to Amsterdam for a cruise around the Baltics and then a few days in Amsterdam.
