Boxing Helena quite captivated me viewing wise. I wonder what it would have been like if Kim Basinger had stuck to the lead female role.

Re Human Centipede, it's worthy of a thread all of its own (if it doesnt already have one)- because it's truly magnificent! Truly one of the best horror films ive ever seen, and id put it up there with The Wicker Man, American Werewolf, Blair Witch and Day of the Dead. Dieter Laser as Dr Heiter is a standout performance worthy of any horror icon you care to mention, and the movie is very smart, very tense, very horrible, very funny and very very well made. Cant recommend it highly enough.

Pfft, my mates six year wee boy could have come up with better horror concepts than that.

Like the story he made up about putting a cow, a cat and a box of fireworks into a washing machine, then turning it on so it spins 'round really fast, resulting in a cat the size of cow that shoots fireworks.

This frightful Chimera then proceeds to burn down the hospital where the young fella had his tonsils removed.

Ok, maybe it's not as disturbing or cerebral as the human centipede, but it'd be all kinds of entertaining.
