I gather no issue 7 has shown up for subs as yet? Saw it in FP in town earlier in the week. I guess we will see it after the new year with the post etc?

I don't know anyone who has received a sub Grey.

When you do get it scribble out "Christmas" and insert "Easter" on the cover.

Shouldn't chuckle at that but alas it's pretty much how it may turn out xD It'll most likely re-launch before the Christmas issue shows up xD

I really have to praise the positive attitude being exhibited towards Strip in this thread.

It's an interesting comic and I'm sure I'd love it, but it's also a car crash of Blues Brothers finale style proportions.

I've been put off by the delays but more so by the shabby way subscribers seem to have been treated. I've seen a litany of excuses, some of them not very convincing, but all of them seemingly taken at face value and with good grace by the readership. A testament, I believe, to the potential Strip has and the tantalising closeness they sometimes get to realising it.

The proposed relaunch - if it ever happens - will only succeed if ship dates are kept to religiously and subscribers always receive their copies before the shops do. This will require a big improvement from the publishers and I only hope they are can step up their game. I fear they won't, but where's there's life there's hope!

Well, all I can tell you is that those sentiments have been stressed quite forcefully by some people working for the title as well. And for quite some time.

Cheers

I don't doubt it for a second Jim. I have said it before that as frustrating as these things must be for subscribers/readers that they are bound to be far more aggravated where creators are concerned.

The Prodigal

Issue 7 has just been slotted through my letter box. Its here folks and at first glance looks like a great read.

Dredger is back!

I got Issue 7 this morning as well, and strangely a second copy of 5/6. What's even stranger is they didn't even appear to be in an envelope...so how did they get here?? Most peculiar. Still, the fact they've managed to get an issue out on time for once gives me a little hope that the distribution problems might be improving.

Me too. Issue 7, plus 5/6 which I already had, in opened plastic wrapping similar to the 2000AD sub "envelope". Bizarre. HMRC?

Fingers crossed mine will show up at some point this week then :)

My 7 and extra 5/6 appeared on Christmas Eve. If anyone wants a 5/6 to see what the fuss is about I have a spare.

SmallBlueThing

James, if it hasnt gone, i'd love your 5/6, as ive not been able to get one. How much do you want for it?
