Will be reading mine this evening, tempted to read all issues back to back again.

As for my spare copy of 5/6 it's been claimed :)

It's OK, he's having my spare.  :)
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Alski

5/6 just felt like a bit of a mess, tbh. I liked the idea of the Strip Challenge entry "Half World War", but the other one, "Body Pop" was, to me, awful.

The Christmas issue is much better, with rather an over reliance on stories from Miki Horvatic, but at least the Croatioon can write some good stories. Van Dom.s STrip Challenge was entertaining and Christmassy, and I loved the larks in Dan Barton - hopefully he will return.

It's good getting to read foreign stuff that would otherwise pass me by, but the newsstand relaunch should really start with all new stuff, as Devil's Heritage will be rather confusing, as will Warpaint and parts of Black Ops, as well as Denizens, a great idea that started this month.

Well, good luck to them. Hope it all works out.

Big thanks to Davey Candlish for sending me a copy of issue 7. Myself and David's alternate-Santy story looks great, very well presented with a nice full page intro and all (wasn't expecting that). Coolest of all is being included on the contents page ha! Glad you enjoyed the story Alski, hope everyone else did too!
Van Dom! El Chivo! Bhuna! Prof T Bear! And More! All in Vanguard Edition Three, available now. Check the blog or FB page for details!

Glad it turned up safely and congrats on getting published by the big(ish) boys!
(Nice to see a name check in the intro for PARAGON too ;))
An old-school, no-bullshit, boys-own action/adventure comic reminiscent of the 2000ads and Eagles and Warlords and Battles and other glorious black-and-white comics that were so, so cool in the 70's and 80's - Buy the hardback Christmas Annual!

Interesting. FP in Glasgow has never had it in. Ah well, I wasn't planning to keep buying it much longer anyway.

Thank goodness they've dropped "magazine" from the title. I think I may have suggested doing that on here 23 years ago.

The Prodigal

Strip phase 2 scheduled for next week. I would love Strip to succeed-it really has excited this old dinosaur.
