So, it was with Smiths on Monday and Diamond on Tuesday but my subscription copy still hasn't turned up...why am I not surprised?.

COMMANDO FORCES

There are 14 copies in my Smiths and they're down with the Prog and Meg, in the twilight zone.

Nothing in my local Smiths - asked one of the assistants may as well have asked a wall - so still no closer to getting the latest issue.

Are FP getting any in does anyone know?

It was the same story in the Smiths I went into today, they did advise me of their lovely range of £1 sweets though.

finally got hold of a copy. Bloody good but I just skimmed  Denizens and warpaint -lovely art though. COBRA and BLACK OPS were tip top stuff and there's even an interview with writer -about- town Richmond Clements of these here boards (that get a nice mention in his i/v). RC also wrote a couple of the strips and they are rollicking good stuff with action, excitement, things blowing up, NOT talking heads. (hello  Big Two are you reading this! ;))

I just hope the guys at STRIP keep up the excellent re-launch.Oh just a mention for Crucible as well amazing stuff almost like euro maga than anything else.

The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

IAMTHESYSTEM

Loved it a really good read. Black Dragon and COBRA were my faves. Always enjoyed Super Spy stories with gadgets etc.  Very high standard of Art and story telling.

Let's hope this is the shape of things to come.

The Prodigal

I have to say I am beginning to regret the subscription. I could have simply ordered it via my local and very helpful newsagent. No sign of it at Prodigal towers as yet. I have a feeling that subscribers might be at a relative disadvantage in the new dispensation.

And that 'just off the press' smell from the pages. Mmmmm - don't you just love that?!

I got it in my local newsies last night where I get all my toothy goodness! Order placed.

Cobra, great fun and great to see him back, I loved him in the annuals as a kid.

Black Ops, well written and drawn, but not my cup of tea.

Crucible, lovely art and decent set up, looking forward to more.

Black Dragon, great stuff, more please!

Denizens, not much to go on in the first episode, but good art.

Warpaint good second time round too.

Ive not read the articles yet, but a very solid effort, and if it keeps up this standard Ill be buying.

Still waiting for my sub!!!!

Me too. As said previously I don't think I would sub again with Strip-much easier just to pick up a copy than wait on the fraught postal service from Bosnia.

I think Denizens was my favourite strip; eco minded with lovely art which echo's Guy Davis' work on B.P.R.D.
