Ditto to that.  I hope that monsieur Bolt has plenty of copies to hand as l'm sure they'll sell like uncle ump's hot cakes.

I picked up, amongst a few other choice selections, Dark Judgement issues 1 and 2 from Bolt at Thought Bubble and I read them last night.

I have to say I was totally blown away. Absolutely brilliant scripts, art, flawless storytelling, brilliant dialogue. Just a real treat. The art is fantastic in issue 1 but then I opened issue 2 and the improvement is amazing. I don't know how long there was between the two but the artist has really come on in leaps and bounds.

These are some of the best stories I've ever read about the Dark Judges. I particularly liked the story featuring Judge Mortis crashing a 'Judge-themed' wedding and the Judge Fire story in which he gives a young mother a horrible choice...

These stories really make the Dark Judges scary again and I would urge people to get hold of them.
Raised in the wild by sarcastic wolves.

I picked up the Dark Judgement issues on Saturday as well!
Great stuff guys!

Dark Judgement I & II - not even the flurry of pages as they were whipped up could cool my EMBARRASSED CHOPS which'd not gazed upon the fist of the first issue.

I bought the two meself and HOT DAMN they were good. Deserving Krill Tro Thargo winner McAuliffe and the macdaddy of all small press artists Mr Conor Boyle are on scintillating form throughout and the two books taken together make for extraordinarily juicy reading. My hat is off and out of the door and across the road in the bungalow with what's-her-face.

ZARJAZ 13

Excellent Staz cover - and the story which it promotes; namely that of Clements and Coleman is extraordinarily good. Coleman's lines are as solid as THE BARE EARTH and if he's not in the prog by the time I finish this sentence I'LL FLIP. More absurdly solid stuff comes from TAB regular (FOR THAT IS WHAT HE IS KNOWN FOR) Stephen Prestwood with smart competition-winning scriptage from future WTF contributor and writer of many a natty script Shaun Avery.

The standout story in the issue has to be Dirty Frank's Holy Wrong from The Emperor (another worthy KTT winner) and Bruno Stahl. Deliciously ridiculous from start to finish and as batty as a badger's balls I couldn't HELP but ADORE IT. The very decision to put Stahl on it deserves applause.

I enjoyed the desolation of the long Bad Company story and the continuity cake in the final Dredd - I thought Williams & Franco's one-shot Dredd was superb and I loved the retro for-no-reason-moon-sherriff outfit. Jason Smith has been showing his friendly face around the cons and I've been looking forward to his Robo Hunter with Colin Dinnie for a while. It didn't disappoint in the least - being as it was a nice look-in for Slade and a bold and brilliant wee story.

A truly amazing issue and another gurt big slab of lovely in the Zarjaz canon. Roll on 14!!!

You can add me to the list of Dark Judgement admirers. I got both along with the latest Zarjaz and they were all arsom. As others have said the Dark Judges are scary in those stories, exactly as they should be.
Dumb all over, a little ugly on the side.

Dark Judgement I really enjoyed (anymore planned)? Zarjaz #13 is great- well done all!

Bolt-01

Cheers for the kind words all. After six years of putting out 2000AD based comics and apprearing at conventions representing Tharg, I'd like to think we were getting pretty good at it.

As for anoth Dark Judgement- I'm going to say that I doubt it. I'd say no, but we can never really be sure what will happen. I do know that there are two more specials in the works right now, and once we have more to share, I'll be sharing.

The blog this weekend will be posting about the new strips we've had completed recently and starting to look forward to our next day out in Cardiff!

I picked up Zarjaz over weekend. Great job. Just as with the prog, Dirty Frank was the stand out story for me. Quality stuff, script and art. It's the only comic strip I have felt compelled to read twice in a short space of time for yonks. And I am not talking just talking small press.

Jimmy Baker's Assistant

Just read my copy of Zarjaz #13.

Great as always, but the stand outs for me were the Bad Company strip (well, you might expect me to say that!), The Church of Rico (script was really good, you can't tell it was written after the impressive art was already drawn) and The Graduate (fine character piece, enjoyed it tremendously).

Bolt-01

Really exceited as I got the linework for the cover for Zarjaz 14 last night. Classic character by a classic artist. You're gonna love it!
