Wow, a bit late to the party, but this is amazing-thank you.  As a relative newbie (6 months or so) this is awesome.  Well, it 's awesome regardless.

Just been looking at this and can only applaud you John...the amount of time and effort to produce this is incredible

I reminds me in some ways of 'John Manships Guide' on Rare Soul...another meticulous John  :D

Surely a bible and surely 2000ad must recognise you for your monumental effort
"We keep on being told that religion, whatever its imperfections, at least instills morality. On every side, there is conclusive evidence that the contrary is the case and that faith causes people to be more mean, more selfish, and perhaps above all, more stupid." ― Christopher Hitchens

Much appreciated, George & Gertie  :).

As of Volume 03, all SoMC1s will have a letter index on Page 2 (eg. Volume 02 would list letters I-R and their start pages). A full, locale-by-locale index is not practical since the content will be regularly expanded, but the forcoming DIRECTORY appendix allows for faster cross-referencing. It is very easy to search my PDFs for keywords, helping reduce the need for a traditional index.

Thanking you, Alex.

Volume 3 should be uploaded next week, accompanied by the Progology. I will be uploading revised versions of the preceding two volumes at the same time as the third volume; they contain corrections and materials transplanted from Volume 3, nothing drastic.

ATTENTION CITIZENS, here's your direct link to the final volume of the most ambitious Mega-City One sourcebook in the history of Thargdom:

Now there's no excuse for your friends claiming not to know much about Judge Dredd!  ;)

Just nabbed volume 3, but I also found your Megaheim/The Norse Lode piece. I've only skimmed it, but it looks great fun. Loved the supporting art.

Regards

Robin

Thanks, Robin. I don't think anybody read THE NORSE LODE back in 2006 when I first published it. It's not part of my 2010 PLAY DREDD RPG continuity, but it's a fun read. Viking Judges, what's not to like?  :D

Hello,

I've uploaded the SoMC1 appendix PROGOLOGY, and next week will resume work on DREDD IN SPACE, the guide to extraterrestrial and extradimensional locations. I will start a separate thread for the latter when it is complete in October. The same time, I am illustrating a Street Judge's personal kit (uniform, gear belt inventory) to accompany an existing PDF on the subject. It will be fun to search out the 'definitive' artistic realisations of equipment such as Stumm grenades, Judgecuffs and the Birdie lie-detector among the classic artwork of the 1980s (line art provides better reference material than impressionistic, murky, fully-painted panels). The uniform itself will be a hybrid of the Ezquerra/McMahon designs which mesh quite well.

COMMANDO FORCES

Excellent work there John. I have one question and that is this - is it okay to print your pages into a folder?
I feel that it would be easier to then read when I feel like it and it would look very professional. I'm asking as it is all your work and it is only right to get permission, plus it would be archived in the cellar  ;)

John Caliber

You're welcome to do anything you like with the material, as are all readers  ;) (if anybody plans to wipe their asses with it, I'd rather not know).

The files I have so far uploaded are low-resolution for monitor viewing, but if you want print-quality, I'm happy to make them available also?

As I have not yet entered the remaining Black Flame novels and the official RPG stuff, you might wish to hold fire on printing them out until the PDFs are 'more' complete than they are right now, but adding these new materials is not something I will be attending to for 1-2 months.

Wow. John, just checked all your other stuff and it awesome. What an incredible piece of work this is. I cant praise you enough for it.

Hi John

Just wanted to repeat what everyone's said and say well done for all the hard work.

Glad to hear you're getting better healthwise.

I'm sure you have lots of ideas for things you could catalogue but two things I always wanted to see are the following:

The numerous variants of Judge's Uniforms for other depts ie Tek Judges. Med Judges, Forensik

List of Perps inc Date of their incarceration and date of their release.

Crimes and the appropriate sentence.

LARF

Bloody hell, John that is amazing, the Academy of Law article is behemoth in itself (you can see how far I've got), if this was a hardback I would buy it, bloody brilliant selfless task that should be honoured in some way.
