you might as well add words like BLAM, ZOK and KAPOWEE over the fight scenes like in those old Batman shows..

We'll add them in Post.

Hope Michael doesn't get a slap for letting the cat out of the bag.

He didn't. We are just guessing.

Whoa! We've all been moved along by the Justice Department to Film Discussion.

It's a Neo facist state after all! No I suspect our jabbering was taking up too much space on the Announcements board. Welcome fellow perps!    :)

This way, you're all in the same place when the gas trucks arrive...

I also pictured Ma-Ma as a BIG BRUISER for some reason, but I'm pretty sure the script never described her as being big or fat. I think it just describes her face a bit.

At the very end, there's an indication of her build.

Michaelvk said nothing directly about her part in the new Dredd movie to me.
It's great to have an inside eye in the production and learn about the process.
Every titbit of news is good publicity for the movie, and I think is beginning to create good awareness of the project.

By the way, John Wagner is heading over to South Africa to join the filming on DNA's tab. Just some extracts from his facebook site.
John Wagner
QuoteI'll be taking a break next week, though, to fly out to Cape Town courtesy of DNA to see some of the filming. Pity me in that baking sun. The sacrifices I make for you!
I asked if he could take a few authorised pictures on set as well if he can, hope he can!
QuoteThis will be the first time I've actually seen any filming. Being in 3D as well I'm particularly intrigued to see how it's all done. I'll definitely take some photos.

I'm just wondering what you think of Stan Lee's cameo's in the various Marvel movies, does it detract from the movie or is it a nice nod to the creator.
I not a huge fan of them, and take away from the movie.
Dropped John a question if he'll pull a "Stan Lee" in Dredd if he was given the opportunity. Be interested to see what he says on them.

I suspect it's unlikely that we'll get a Wagner cameo - things like that take a surprising amount of planning with work visas etc.

I always love seeing Stan in those films, but that's 'cos I love Stan, and he's a pop culture phenomenon / celebrity in his own right. Seeing Chris Claremont watering his lawn (or whatever it was) in X-Men 3 didn't have the same impact. The fun thing to do with Stan's cameos is imagine they're all the same character.
