If you do an image search for FN Rifle, you'll see guns which look at least as advanced as that, if not more so.

You're not wrong. Gunnar!

Re the sight.. I did have a 20mm rail with a small holosight on it at one stage, but that got nixed..

Surely, we must be allowed more Dredd pics as its a Dredd film.
Its not a spoiler to say Dredd is in it unless he's holding a sign that gives the end of the film away.

I'm sure quite a few of us would like to see an Anderson pic (not for pervy reasons* but) out of desperarte curiosity. I'm a little curious as to what counts as a spoiler.

*Maybe teeny weeny pervy reasons...  ;)

To me a spoiler would be any picture , clip or information that automatically told you of a plot development in the film that spoiled any surprise at all. I've not read the script at all , I just don't want to , but certain comments on here - for instance
Anderson being a cadet
- although they shouldn't be on this topic , didn't spoil anything for me so I wasn't pissed off with that.
However if for instance , and I'm making this up by the way , someone said '...when such and such dies by so and so's hand...' , then that would be telling me a spoiler and I'd be already aware of it when that part of the film comes up , ruining any surpise.
...because I hate you.

They'll also want to hold back a bit for Kapow as well, at a guess.

Hey, Michaelvk. Thanks for the info. I'm curious about the suit - is that chest armour a permanent feature or does he wear it only for a particular situation?

Michaelvk

I don't really know. There've been quite a few script changes since I last read it.. It was still white back then.. Apparently it's blue now..

The script, blue?
Don't tell me it has turned into porn.

Every time there is a significant script update, the colour of the paper changes. It's a simple indication so that everyone should be working off the same colour on any given scene shoot. if someone on the shoot has a different colour, it means they have the wrong script.

Well if you don't want to be spoiled to that extent I suggest you don't look at any pages associated with the Dredd film at all, otherwise what would we be talking about? I'd hate to think I couldn't post or comment on something that has been released about it. I haven't read the script but I like to chat about the photos etc. Anderson being a cadet is not really a spoiler, no more than it being set in a city block is. It's part of a synopsis not spoiler material.

Steve DGenerate

The solution's simple. Have a thread for those who've read the script and one for those who haven't/don't wish to. Mark the title clearly, then it's up to the reader if they want to know details before the film is released.

Personally I've read it, think it's a cracking introduction to the world of Dredd, and I'm pretty sure I'll forget the finer details before 2012...  :)

One man's spoiler is another's tantalising titbit.

Whilst I'm sure that gun is entirely real and being shot with it would no doubt be horribly fatal, it does look oddly toyish, which is not a look I thing they should go for with a lawgiver - it should look like it means business. I can see the resemblance to gunnar, though.

I do think the lawgiver design as shown in the photo fits the bill. I certainly wouldn't be resisting arrest with that thing pointed at my face.
