The solution's simple. Have a thread for those who've read the script and one for those who haven't/don't wish to. Mark the title clearly, then it's up to the reader if they want to know details before the film is released.

There are three threads on the script already,

1 -  http://www.2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,29301.0.html
2 -  http://www.2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,31047.0.html
3 -  http://www.2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,29904.0.html

I've started a Spoiler zone for the film as this thread, which is about the first exclusive picture has meandered all over, including loads on a semi resident mentally ill person.

It's here http://www.2000adonline.com/forum/index.php/topic,31156.0.html and it means no-one can complain if they see anything in the thread as the title says it all!

The Lawmaster better not fly and the gun shouldn't talk.

And scroll down to the post below that for others.

They are clearly going for a gritty near-future feel.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Unfortunately, the pics aren't very big...

looks more Robocop 1980s near future than 2010 near future  :-\

Oh.

Sorry, not digging the design choices at all there, it just looks far too contemporary.

Seems like they're going for a bit of a Children of Men vibe, but it's not doing it for me...

I especailly don't like the blue ice cream van with 'the bill' piping around it

I hope Tosh Lines isn't the comedy sidekick...

mmmm. :-\
Hard to say. Could be for anything.....
Certainly looks very present day to me.

I have seen a pic of one of Jocks early vehicle concepts, which I used as a basis for some further design work I submitted for the vehicle construction to DNA, esp after Alex Garland saw my Warthog. ( I wasn't commissioned or anything, but knew they were interested, so did them anyway, just in case!!)
I wasn't far off what we see here, actually they're bloody close- although mine were more future inspired.

Trivia- I live about 10 mins away from the large 6 wheeler Landrover used in Children Of Men, funnily enough ( its owned by a company called Gumtree 4x4 in Ditchling)

thing is... they are not what I had hoped for but every pic I see is EXACTLY how i expected it to eventually be (especially the wagons. it does seem to have the batman begins nolan vibe (IMHO)
