I'm quite late posting here but I'm very happy with what I got.
19" HD TV (for my room)
Scrubs season 1 and 2
Inception 2 disc
Iron Man 2
The A-team (the movie)
A £10 HMV gift card (which I used to get Scott Pilgrim vs The World 2 disc)
Fallout New Vegas (Xbox 360)
Red Dead Redemptioin (Xbox 360)
A set of Faber Castell artist pens (very nice)
Some Staedtler art maker pens (again, very nice)
A big book about Mods from the 60's through to the 70's
A set of art pencils (very nice)
Some predator stuff ( I got the DVD for my Dad so I eneded up watching it and I got some things by Neca)
The Mammoth Book of best crime comics
Judge Dredd Tour of Duty the backlash
Judge Dredd the complete Case Files 3 ( I finally have it!)
More Drawings by Mike MIgnola (It's a sketch book of never before published art by Mike Mignola and it's signed by him)

All in all I was very spoilt and I am very happy!
I've already posted in the merry xmas thread so all that's left for me to say is a belated HAPPY NEW YEAR. May everyone of you have a good one and I hope the ones of you out there wanting to get a futureshock accepted by the house of Tharg do so!
They say you need to spend money to make money, well I've never made any money so by that logic I've never spent any.

-sniff- It's so beautiful.

Don't fancy being Vzzbux when she finds out it isn't the puppy she asked for.

Not sure if this was Xmas or birthday but my mum has paid for and enlisted myself as a life member of the St.Helens Woods Preservation Society [Hastings] which is an organisation/trust which owns and manages them as its a nature reserve with full public access.I lived right next to these woods when i lived in Hastings and i assisted in managing them by doing woodland conservation type things on a voluntary basis which explains my interest in it.

A bit late to the party here, but among my Christmas loot was:

JD Case Files 6 & 7
SD Agency Files 2
Walking Dead Vols 2 & 3
Simon Pegg - Nerd Do Well
Kick Ass DVD
Isaac Asimov's Foundation Trilogy

I also had to go out and procure Agency Files 1 as I couldn't start on the 2nd one. And while I was looking online, I accidentally also added Mechanismo and My Name is Death to my collection. It's starting to get out of hand.

"Out of hand"? I'll tell you what's out of hand, sir, it's when you've got 2000+ prog-related comics boxed and stacked in the corner of the bedroom, two groaning bookcases full if trades and are having to buy a third because of the ones piled up on the floor of the dining room!

or when you have a 'cellar of dredd'. Or a shed of dredd, mustnt forget cosh!

You're merely at the beginning!

:D True, I could be like Commando Forces and having to consider an extension to accomodate the next purchase.

But I only have a small room. I think by the time I move out, I will have to consider falts based on the comic storage capacity...

Only got a few things this year but they included:
new overcoat
Lost series 6 dvd
New jumper
various pants/socks
Best of all was a ticket to go and see Pulp later on this summer. Top work by my sister.

And I went out just after Xmas and treated myself to books 3-8 of Invincible, Leviathan and a few back issues of the 1987 Punisher series that were half price in Orbital comics.

Bad luck there, you've only had it a few weeks.

Colin Zeal

It's a good thing I've got 1-5 as well so I can just watch those instead.

On seeing another friend today:

The Dark Tower: A concordance Volume II, by Robin Furth >. (My friend knows I'm really into Stephen King's Dark Tower books so she thoughtfully bought this. Actually I already bought it for myself a while back, but I appreciate the gesture.)

The Wolfman Extended Cut DVD: I've yet to see this. I certainly find it appealing although the reviews I've read are mixed.

An assortment of nuts and a chocolate.(She actually filled a stocking with these prezzies. Heh.) These no longer exist. Well the nuts clothes sort of do.

Mobile Phone:  My last one got stolen a while back, and my friend got this one free with her Blackberry. Since she has no use for it, she kindly gave it to me. (I offered to buy it but she wasn't having any of that.) She's very sweet.
