The same can be said of the Left regarding the above comments and even more so and i say that as objectively as possible.

It comes down to who you choose to believe about climate change: a man who has studied and published on the subject all his adult life and is one of the senior figures of his discipline, or the political tools of big business who smile and tell us it's (conveniently) all in hand, be they David Cameron, Brian Cowen, Barack Obama, Wen Jibao or Sarah Fucking Palin.  I don't really care about their supposed ideologies (which as I understand it are universally 'get into power, stay in power'), but I do care very much about the facts, which I believe people like Hansen are trying to tell us.

Serious questions remain, however, such as: how many square feet can I expect to myself on Kerrin's spaceship?

Standard cabins will be a palatial 10x20 feet (a very reasonable £500,000 per square foot) with your own en suite toilet/porthole. All passengers will of course have free run of the promenade decks, ice rink, bull ring, velodrome, driving range, restaurants and bars.

Passengers may, on occasion, be asked to help with the peddling as we ramp up to transgalactic velocities. This is perfectly normal in these circumstances and will be provided as a free service. After all, your health, wealth and well being are our primary concern.

CORGI registered.

And that should of course be pedalling, not peddling. You will not be expected to go cabin to cabin trying to sell illegally powerful cleaning fluids and speciality brushes.

Excellent.  I presume we can arrange payment by installment, or indeed a post-dated cheque?

Paypal only. Regrettable I'm afraid but the last time the world ended we had terrible problems recouping our vast and wholly justifiable costs.

So this ark will be built from spare parts bought off ebay?

So it's not the end of the world. But hopefully the end of this deplorably paranoid thread.
Kerrin -save the lifeboat for me not these nobodies and losers on this board. I'm an important being and must be saved though I resemble something goblinoid rather than human.Of course I can't give you the money NOW, but I'm sure an IOU will suffice, after all if my good name isn't worth £100,000,000 what is?

Cheers!-Z
don't listen to him .he still owes me £17,000,000.60p for all the victorian porn i sold him(er,for a friend you understand?) on ebay

My fiscal managers at Cashcheckiequick handle all such negotiations. I'm sure they'll be getting back to you soon. And it wasn't just Victorian porn.
Kerrin-I'll be elbowing my way through the nuns and children to the escape pod on the last ever night. I'm easy to spot-spined, short, evil looking and shouting "Out of the way i'm richer than you!"
The Justice department has a good re-education programme-it's called five to ten in the cubes.

Naturally! Ebay Russia is the finest source of high quality, fully certified, one careful owner, works first time or your money back space hardware known to man. That's for the engines and what have you, y'know breathing stuff etc. For the sleek and imposing hull and superstructure of this spacefaring behemoth I know a bloke who can get hold of as many skips as we need. Cheap. Then it's just a question of a bit of welding, coat of paint...

Technical aspects, which as I'm sure you'll understand are highly classified, are ably handled by my in depth studies of the works of Mr.W Heath Robinson and reruns of The Great Egg Race.

I would choose to believe neither.

I dont believe the politicised science and i dont trust the political tools of big business.I dont trust or believe in any of it but its not climate change itself that is in dispute but the causes of as believing that climate change doesnt exist in itself is just Ass-inine.

The main problem with this subject is the majority dont understand the bigger picture and dont read between the lines and havent done their own research on the organistaions involved and just take or accept things as read and their arguments in favor of the official line on climate change/AGW are really nothing more than an argument for authority/appeal to authority/a fallacy of defective induction.

I am not attacking anyone for having that kind of view but the fact is i am far too well read and researched on the subject to take any of that seriously.Thats just how it is.I dont watch much TV and i use a lot of my spare time reading up on it all.

Does anyone here have any knowledge or understanding of Astronomy enough to say that the Planet X/Niburu scare stories are BS and scaremongering ?

There is a lot of New Age bunk that goes along with it as well but all i am interested in is wether or not a Brown Dwarf star is going to enter our solar system for a period of time or not and its curious because i havent seen any footage myself that is convincing but another curious thing is the section of sky it appears in is apparently missing from Google sky.Its supposed to be present by 2012 and its claimed it will be a catastrophic event.

Anyway whatever is to happen everyone will find out when its too late right at the last minute which doesnt really matter if there is nothing you can do about it anyway.

With Jimbo Hansen, John Holdren, Paul Ehrlich and Al Gore you have the four horsemen of the doompocalypse. I don't think either have made a correct prediction in their entire lives (did Jimbo predict he'd go senile?).

Personally I'm calling mass media hysteria and possibly a staged event of some kind. Definitely the former and maybe a continued build up of all the UFO nonsense throughout 2011.

The world is going to end in 2012 right, That makes all your wealth redundant. How about you deposit your (soon to be) worthless monies into my bank account, I am more than willing to take it off all your hands.
