Hello All,
I have been a 2000AD reader since around 1980, when I used to read my cousins prog's and collecting my own since 1983 (prog 300 odd).

Up until now, I hadn't joined the forum but I have just had to move my entire collection due to a loft conversion (and obviously had to flick through them to make sure they were still in good condition and in order  ). That was quickly followed by attending the SFX weekender and meeting lots of 2000AD creators and fans.

Although already a big fan of all things 2000AD, the combination of those inspired me to join up and talk to other fans.

Hi ratty, welcome to the forum.

Interesting you mention your mags need to be in order. I wonder if that applies to most readers or are some just chaotic?

I for one regurlarly check they are in sequence..

Galactic greetings earthlet. As far as the keeping them in order thing goes, i have nightmares about some bastard moving a few around and therefore causing me to panic when doing my once every two or three years 'get them all out and gaze upon them' sesh. Once id actually put an entire storyline of something or other back in the wrong place, causing a panic attack when-two years later- i had my next bout of progsturbation.
'Local man dies after believing he's lost a few comics' is not the epitaph i want in the local paper.
