At the end of last year I decided to enter the DVD competitions that Tharg runs every now and again, well it only costs a stamp and postcard.
Guess what after 3 entries I am a WINNER. I entered the comp in Prog 1715 for the Resident Evil DVD and it turned up today in the post.

Anyone else on here entered these comps and won?

Just think, Buttonman could start a new file on who wins what comp ;)

I'm so sorry. There's always Ebay ?

But what about that believable scene when she jumps off the roof and then swings around the side of building and all the zombies fall off the roof after her  :o

I've won a couple of dvd boxsets- but I stopped doing the comps when you couldn't enter through the website anymore. I am lazy like that.

I'm exactly the same, used to enter every single one of them (never won anything though) and then stopped when it was going to mean using post.

I too only entered when it was a web entry - with the price of stamps you'd barely break even if you won!

As for being a Tharg winner I would say I am, as my tearering pile of Judge Anderson books will attest. Then again they were earned rather than 'won' but I still stand on my home made podium every time one clatters through the door. A pleasure only bettered by the wife muttering 'Fuxake I should have married that used car salesman form Dykebar' when she sees me happy for the briefest of moments.

Carry on.

I won the awesome film that is Punisher Warzone and Metro 2033 for the Xbox which also came with the paperback of the book it's based on which is still sat in my will eventually get round to reading pile.

I enter the competition quite often, got to find some use for the postcards you get from the cinema.

Yeah I guess I'm a winner in that regard, I always get Vol 2 of something but it prompts me to go pick up the first one! I think I lied to you in the pub that time about having a 100% hit rate with letters, thinking about it I think I sent a letter in once that didn't get printed. Once.

I won the complete Hong Kong Phooey on dvd a few years ago but also stopped entering these when it became postal only.

I've won a couple of DVDs (one with a tatty and lightweight branded manbag) and all since they went postal. Too many of you lot were entering when it was online.
