Hi folks..

Hi folks, just wanted to introduce myself..

Name's Bog, 40yrs old, been reading 2000ad since Prog 1, but not recently..
I was introduced to 2000ad as a 7yr old, back in 1977, and instantly fell in love with the style. Can still remember "Invasion", "Mach 1", Dredd (naturally), and it was this comic that spawned a life-long love of the comic-book/art medium.. I can even remember sticking the "Mach 1" stickers that came free with Prog 2 (or 3) on me, and truly believing i could run faster, jump higher and lift heavier...lol

I've got tattoos of some of the iconic comic-book figures, or symbology (The Dredd tattoo from the movie, modded to have my name in numbers "806" in the middle, a G.I. Biochip on the back of my neck, as well as other comicbook characters (Batman, punisher skull, "V" mask, Deadpool(work in progress)..

What can I say ??? I'm a comic-book Geek...

Welcome, Mr. (?) Bog.  If you're a Prog Oner you'll be happy to hear that a direct sequel to Flesh starts this week (Prog 1724 - even typing that number makes me feel old), and Bill Savage late of Invasion! is still giving the Volgs grief in the eponymous Savage, due for another series shortly.  Grab a copy of the current weekly, you won't regret it.

Thanks for this, and now i'm looking at gainful employment again, I can definitely see myself catching up with "Savage", and, although "Flesh" wasn't one of my all-time favourites, it's still a story that takes me back to what made me love comics, and i'll happily read the sequel..
