oooh, this opens on ANZAC day here next week and I really cant wait.  Looks more like the Ultimates that=n the Avengers but i haven't got any problems with that.

Definitely

He's very good at ensemble stuff and manages to juggle a LOT of characters in this. His banter really suits the film and there's some killer one liners.
Sure some will say the plot is light "Invasion... good guys must band together" but the fact so many big guns are in this movie and none feel short changed it pretty impressive.

Big, fun, Summer action movie.

Cool, nice review but could you change the font colour? black on that background and my feeble aging eye's had problems.  This sound like a lock in for me next week, i think i'll brave the crowd opening day rather than wait a few weeks like i usually do.

Great review. I agree concerning the Captain America costume thought. The one in his original film looked much better. (I've yet to see that film either, but I've seen pictures.)

Watched Iron Man 2 (again) with two of my mates last night.  One hadn't even seen it...

We are getting in the mood for Avengers

Thor is the only one that really ties into Avengers in terms of plot (and Loki). It's also the best of the three mentioned there.

I'm pretty sure the [spoiler]cosmic cube[/spoiler] which features heavily in Captain America will be a major plot point in The Avengers. Also, Captain America is better that Thor so there.
