I just think that it's odd - I remember rain smelling different.

Is there a classic triangular UFO caught on Google Maps @ 30°30'38.86″ S /115°22'58.17″ E ?

Don't think so -  - for a start it looks like ground markings rather than a flying object - the only shadow is a long thin one from the centre pointing SW - I'm guessing this is some kind of mast or transmission tower, with a large triangular fence around it and possibly floodlights.

Definitely looks more like a UGO than a UFO.

I was just out for a walk with my brother. Brother wanted to turn back. I said "What if there's another one of them meteor thingies and we miss it?". Walk a bit further. Turn back. Meteor lights up sky.

Walking through a snow flurry yesterday teatime, I had the overwhelming urge to sing Wild Thing then a medley of the Troggs greatest hits, there but making me grin like a loon, woke up today to the sad news that Reg was dead...

I was walking passed a graveyard too, so will give the Frog Chorus a try tonight

Strangely enough as a youngster in Canada, the draftdodger I worked with and I discussed Elvis one day, he died the following day, a few days later we talked about Groucho Marx and he died, we tried a few others Nixon, the Québécois we worked for...no luck ::)

My dad's found that stuff loads of times. He's always found it up hills in the middle of nowhere after thunderstorms, sometimes on top of fence posts, (so it must be falling from somewhere). I can remember an occasion after a storm several years ago, he actually set out to look for it in a place he'd found it previously, and returned with quite a lot of it in a bucket. Sent some off to somebody to get it analysed, and, as usually seems to be the case, they couldn't really tell him what it was.

Aaaaa- CHOOO! Drat, didn't get the tissue up in time again.

Sorry.

I was travelling home by bus the other day reading Swamp Thing. While reading, I heard over the bus tannoy* "The Green."

Pure coincidence of course. It's just a grassy area I pass too/from work every day but...  well, it fascinated me. I'm easily fascinated. Not that I'm complaining. Life can be a lot of fun that way.
