Bah! That's not even the real Moon...

Fine! If you don't want it you'll get nothing! Go to your room... :o

Matt Timson

I'm already in my room. Voluntarily. Worst punishment ever.

Pffft...

may not be needed but I'll apologise anyway - I thought you were referring to our web-bots  :-[

I feel that i want to apologise for snapping at you yesterday* as i was a bit irritable at the time having not been home that long and after a stressful and annoying journey home that involved a series of idiotic drivers getting in my way.

*I have been feeling guilty about it all day.

All people need to do is bookmark this link:

http://www.2000adonline.com/forum/index.php?action=recent

And that should see you through to it all getting fixed up later on.

Now let's all hug, as long as Peter Wolf is still missing his knife.

:o wow...errr...hey guys....

Soooo, if I change active topics to point to ?action=recent for the time being would that help at all? Or do you want it as well as the other links up top?

I've not mentioned anything here are peeps have been getting on with things.

As an lurker and occasional drifter on and off the board the "action=recent" doens't cut it for me, as it show the whole posts

I liked the old list as I could quickly scan it, see if there was anything new that looked interesting, or anything that I'd participated in that was bubbling up, and click onto that.

The "action=recent" means I have to read the list, and also loses the context...

Yeah sure, that's why I said "for the time being", we'll sort the active list out as soon as we're back on the forums - just wondered if the above change would've helped in the interim...

It does, or at least the link I have in my bookmarks bar does the trick.

Please dont feel pressured by my rants and criticisms as everything is in your own time.

Since the shenanigans and whatnot with being offline yesterday, I can't see my avatar. I can see everyone else's, but mine is a sad little square with a cross in it. Are these two things related?

I can see it just fine. Try a hard refresh (see above).

The forum has been moved to a subdomain, which means your browser might not recognise things as being in its cache. A hard refresh should force it to draw in the bits and bobs from their new locations.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

A whatnow?

Sorry it wasn't above, this is probably in the wrong thread as it isn't connect to the forum changes, it is just to the site changes. See:

Ah- I did that, and it didn't work. I then deleted all my temp files and thingies, in the hope that'd work. Then the site wouldn't let me back in because I'd apparently forgotten my password... which I'd not changed (at least to my memory!), and sent me an email with a link (that wasn't a link) to a page where I could change it. So I did- back to what it always has been, and here I am! And I can see my piccie again! Hurrah! Thanks Emporer, sir. Much obliged.
