Guys, can I ask that you don't respond to him when he posts?
Report him to us by all means, but any kind of interaction will just give him (in his mind) validation for the drivel he posts.
Thanks.
well said :)

Tell you what, that costume is more faithful than i ever hoped for,all main elements are there....looking forward to a proper Lawmaster shot now to dispel my concerns about that...I'm really optimistic that we are going to get a real Dredd film.
I feel 10 again.

I know it's an optical illusion* but seeing that picture,  the helmet  looks better fitting in the full body shot.

*Particularly as another guy on here said the opposite. Heh.

Context. It's all about context..

Some days... ok MOST days, I'm pretty sick of fanboy culture, but going through this thread and seeing everyone just excited and happy to see Dredd being made is pretty damn cool

thanks gents (and any ladies I missed.. in which case... hellooooo ladies)

I do prefer the other cover, but this one is equally ARSOM. I really love the changes they have made to the costume.

I've never seen the hat as too big, and when that started to do the rounds, I was honestly confuzzled. Maybe because I'm a Boba Fett fan and so, you know, yay helmet? On the other hand, I'm probably the lone voice that wouldn't mind less of the grimace; it can't be comfortable to hold that shape for long, surely?

And I've been catching up on Urban's roles, interviews, the whole slog, and it is amazing how he changes his body. Even during Xena years, he talked about how much effort went into the Cupid physique. Which was different to the muscular Caeser role he also portrayed.

But it's not just his body though! His Bones in Star Trek just looked so different - he changed his face! Somehow! I was really quite caught out by that.

Also, watched the extended version of Pathfinder and it's great fun. Visually stunning too. Another surprise since it was supposed to be a failure.

Basically, in short, I'm just saying I'm totally psyched he's Joe Dredd and since he's usually the best thing in the movies he's in ( seriously, I wanted a Kirill film instead of another Bourne after his turn in Supremacy) I'm just bouncing all over the place with excitement over Dredd. Bouncing!

The gun barrel is about 4cm longer on the standard cover. Silencer?

Very in keeping with Mike McMahons and Carlos early Dredd, . . . the full body pose is spot on and the whole costume looks very practical for the all action scenes in the film. Let the countdown commence.  :D

Found more pics online!

Yes, the scans aren't great, but the issue is out soon anyway...

Okay, the rest can be found on the imdb thread. Which, no doubt, you guys all knew...

in relation to the persistent dysentry on here is there no way to isolate new posters to vet them? like the bbc does to any posts on there forums? that way we cant feed the troll...hich is fun in its own way like badger baiting without the terriers.
