(I do prefer the new costume overall though, especially the helmet.)

I've been searching for The Bank Raid episode in the progs.

A quick search on Barney leads me to think it's in the Judge Dredd Annual 1981 - I have this and would be happy to snap some iPhone photos of the pages for you (I can't scan it at the moment).

Well, here's the five pages from the only story I could find that mentioned Bank Raid (in the Judge Dredd Annual 1981). Let me know if it's the wrong one, or if I need to take it down. These are dodgy iPhone camera snaps and not nice quality scans I'm afraid!

I'm guessing the story is old and well known enough and the photos are of a suitable non printable quality to guess we might be ok on this one.

The Urban uniform has definitely got a 'Bank Raid' vibe to it. Not just the uniform, Dredd's attitude seems closest to this version too, particularly the road side execution [spoiler]which is mirrored in a scene from the new film[/spoiler].

This story is also in the back of Case Files vol 1 if that's easier to check out.
