I can confirm that Issue 2 is as awesome as I'd hoped. Just such a fun book.  :D

I just wish the bugger would finish one tale before going off and starting a new one - has there been a resolution to Kane or Jack Staff? I love both and would love to see more

Jack Staff is on official hiatus after poor sales - a big pity:

if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Mudman #4 The Tide Turns is out now. There's a nice scene where Owen
pulls open the front of his Superman hoodie to reveal his Mudman MM top.
Great stuff.

Yeah that bit was gold, as to be honest was the whole thing. Its brilliant and for all the good stuff I got this week its still probably the best thing I read every month.

I love comics. More to the point, I love comics that I can just sit down and read, and when i'm finished have a smile on my face. Paul Grist and his excellent work on Mudman make me smile. Issue #5 out now. If you've not checked out Mudman yet, give it a go. After all, what have you got to lose, except maybe a few frown lines.

I'll definitely be picking up the trade.

And in excellent news just popped over to Paul Grist's Twitter (who knew???!!!) and issue 6 is due January with plans for it to maintain a monthly schedule in 2013.

He has mentioned an illness in his family had coursed delays. So hopefully all better and looking ahead to the future now.

The Adventurer

Paul has promised monthly schedules before that have never really materialized. Not that I don't wish him luck and will buy everything he makes. But I'm not getting hopes up.

Mudman #6 'This is a Test' is out now. :D
In the preface Paul apologises for the delay with the book (as Colin_YNWA said, this was due to a family illness.) and is hoping to be getting Mudman on a more regular schedule. I know the delays may put some folk off, but I always find a Paul Grist comic well worth the wait.

The trade arrived yesterday, looking forward to reading it!
They say you need to spend money to make money, well I've never made any money so by that logic I've never spent any.

Basilisk

So... i'm interested. After reading all the post on the thread, i have on "hot stand-by", the Mudman TPB. I've just ordered another Image title, but this will be the next. Looking forward to reading it.
Ah, Henry Peter Gyrich -- I should'a guessed. Tell me -- do you National Security Council Guys get a cheaper rate buyin' those sunglasses in bulk?
