Debris, Planetoid, The Massive, Spaceman... its a fair ole post-apocalyptic sci-fi bonanza in US comics atm. Someone should tell them about 2000AD.
If I'd known it was harmless I would have killed it myself.

Prophet readers, I am a bit confused with a few panels in the latest issue (#28).  Can anyone offer an explanation as to what is happening?

On page 13, is it the Kinniaa who says 'what's this?' - what is that he is referring to?  And is it that the Quid Pid is trying to capture him with some of his minions who have turned up?

And on pages 17-20 Diehard takes out 'Diehard's warbody' so that he can free the living weapon from the egg.  What is Diehard's warbody?  An alternative body that he used to use, before being captured and controlled via a Dolmantle by the Hive Queen?

It is a great series (Brandon Graham's solo issue being my highlight so far).  I have to admit that the last two issues focusing on Old Man Prophet have been my least favourite though.

P13:
- No idea what that thing is Kinniaa is referring to, but probably some type of Dolmantle tech.
- Quid Pid and smaller Dolmantle controlled creatures are trying to capture Kinniaa.

P17-20:
- Thats exactly what I took from it- it's an outer shell type suit that he would have worn for heavy combat, obviously with neural interface to allow Dolmantle control.

This arc is definitely not as strong as the opening one, but the art by Milonogiannis more than makes up for it.
Looking forward to the next Simon Roy arc mind you.

Not sure why but the Milonogiannis issues tend to be my least favourite on Prophet.

Not sure why either as I think Milonogiannis is fantastic. His OLD CITY BLUES (web)comic was some good APPLESEED-esque cyberpunk.

I think the Simon Roy issues just suit the story better - bit more quirky.  Apparently the next issue is a combination of both artists.

I'm thoroughly loving Prophet, best thing on the market right now.

If you are enjoying the art you can drool over Brandon & Simon's pencils over at http://www.mcconnellart.com/

I read the last couple of issues before going to sleep last night and it invaded my dreams with alien organic textures.

Nice one Andy, cheers for the hyperlink.
