The Adventurer

Latest issue had a great guest appearance. This book keeps getting better and better, especially now that it has a semblance of an over arching plot.

I only read that issue last night Adventurer, and I agree- brilliant.
A decapitated 'Supreme' being used as a power supply for a sentient asteroid belt...? Great stuff.

What issue are we upto guys? I'm a big fan of the series but have decided to wait for the next trade as opposed to buying the single issues; same as Saga.

Graham's run only started with 21 though, so I'd reckon the 2nd collection only just wrapped up floppy wise.
A great read.

Yeah i realised after posting that the recent run started later! Phew, i was getting worried  :D
Coincidentally i was reading Liefeld's Prophet the other day and it seemed worlds apart from what Brandon Graham had re-started. Its (the new run)  a brilliant read indeed, i know it can get a bit mindboggling at times but i fell in love with it straight away. Without doubt one of the best titles in comics right now.

Anyhow, cheers mate!

Volume 1 collected #21-26 so there's now eight issues out since that last volume. Image tend to have a pretty quick release schedule for their trades. My guess is that the Volume 2 is going to a bigger trade, maybe collecting eight or nine issues as opposed to the usual six. Brandon Graham previewed the artwork for the second trade cover in the last week so I'm guessing it'll be announced pretty soon. At a guess, I'd say it'll be a July release date.

Eight or nine? My heart is on the verge of exploding! Lol! If they do announce a bigger trade then that would be awesome. And here's hoping for a quick release date too. By the way, i'll be forever in your debt PreacherCain for introducing me to the series!  :)

Glad to hear you enjoyed it! The King City trade is worth a look too; it's a huge book at a very affordable price and features Graham's earlier work. It's a little more... uh, wacky... but I loved it.

Just to reiterate, yes it was put up in the solicitations earlier today. As were the next trades for Saga and Fatale. I was wrong on two counts as well; it's only collecting six issues. June 28th sees the release of Prophet #38 however, meaning they have enough material for another trade straight away. Maybe there won't be too long of a gap between volumes two and three.

Thanks for that piece of info, mate. The cover artwork looks very nice, albeit not as 'spectacular' as the first volume cover. Maybe they should've done a cover with two diggers coming out of the ground to signify the 2nd volume!  :D, lame idea i know!  ::)

Hey, thx for the tip. I'll see if i can pre-order the 2nd trade.

It's really hardcore sci-fi, not for everyone. But it's really good, very imaginative.
Ah, Henry Peter Gyrich -- I should'a guessed. Tell me -- do you National Security Council Guys get a cheaper rate buyin' those sunglasses in bulk?
