I'm genuinely looking forward to the conclusion of 'Locke & Key'...though they might try to drag the last mini into 2013. That books gonna leave a key shaped hole in me heart.

From the CBR feature 'Flippin' through Previews - January 2012

QuoteUniverse has an interesting comic on the bottom of page 330: Corto Maltese volume 1: The Ballad of the Salt Sea by Hugo Pratt.

I'm very excited to see this confirmed.

I saw Archaia Studio Press are translating a Sergio Toppi book for release in June, so I did a Google image for it.  :o Keep an eye out for Sharaz-de in June.

For those of you excited about Brandon Graham's Prophet, there is a fantastic piece by him on Ellis' site about his approach to Prophet...

I think any song about American Reaper that doesn't contain the line "Don't Fear The Reaper" is just shit.

Personally, looking forward to the conclusion of The Boys, plus Millar's 2 new series. Sorry...

Ooooo. I might have to pick that up, the art is magnificent.
if I went 'round saying I was an Emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me, they'd put me away!

Very excited about new Matt Kindt in 2012 as well.

First off, there's a new collection of 3 3Story shorts that Kindt did for DHP a few years back. Then, he starts up his new espionage thriller Mind MGMT for Dark Horse in May.

I believe that when he's writing and drawing, he's one of the strongest creators in the business right now.

Flicking through the recent Clint magazine with the Garth Ennis feature, I saw Garth mentioning he will have more war comics coming out this year - from Avatar Press this time though.

More Ennis war comics is great news, for my money this is his real strength.  Hopefully PJ and Carlos will be back on board too.  Also saw that Ennis is back on Crossed, and about time too - the Lapham stuff has proved unreadable for me.  The preview looks great, with a disfigured Prince Harry tromping about the Scottish highlands, and apparently Spurrier and Delano will be on board later on too.  That's more than enough to get me excited.

On that note, I've been peeking at the new Spurrier X-Club book, although I'm not presently in a position to buy it, and it looks hilarious - his Dr. Nemesis is a riot.

That's great news, is this WWII or is it related to Stitched stuff which is set in Afganistan?

I'm really looking forward to the line of Battle reprints expanding (hey a man can dream!).

Well the Major Eazy collection has a new cover - so looks like that might finally be happening

And an introduction of Sly Stallone... no really...
