I'd like to see some of the later ones, especially the colour ones.  :)

Only seen the colour News of the Worlds ones based on the 95 film.

Hi All,
Apart from the almost complete run of the daily strips, I do have a number of the Saturday ones. They are all from the later times of the run. I do have some available at the moment, but like the majority of the dailies the rest are in storage. I'm hoping all that will come out at some point this year.
When I'm at home I will list the ones I have.

I know ther's one with a Kevin Keegan lookalike,  Cliff Richard and JR Ewing (I think)

Cheers Barnabas - theres definitely 275/276/278 confusion to still clear up, which was right at the end of the Saturday strips, but it would also be good to get numbers for some of the later reprinted ones too

Nice one vzzbux!  :)

Does anyone know what this one was called?

vzzbux

They didn't put titles in the paper. So unless it was in a collected edition  name titles weren't tagged.

Bumping this thread ...

I've just gotten around to sorting out my Daily Star Dredds. I now have all of the reprinted strips in one place, plus the Devil's Island story higher up this thread.

Did anyone have any luck locating any of the unreprinted strips? I've been looking around, and can't find any libraries locally that would hold archives of the Star.

Anyone out there have the bottom half the The Manta Tank strip?

This may be a bit of a long-shot but Im looking for a strip that appeared alongside Dredd in the autumn of 1981 in the Saturday Star. Someone may have it in the clipping of the newspaper, its of the Character Joker form Whizzer and Chips, if anyone has an example of the strip PM me!!!

Things are approaching the end with the hunt!  When the hunt started, life looked all so simple then, but time rewrote every line.. or something!

Luckily, more dedicated hunters than myself carried the flame on and thanks to the work of firstly ORlok and now GlassStanley, we are missing just 1 or 2 Daily Star Dredds!

They are:

110 (maybe - it could be any number between August to September 83, but we are on that!)
276 - probably a Gibson and right at the very end of the run (279 being the last published)

When I get a spare moment I will add the details to the Barney thread so that we can finally lay the ghost of missing Dredds to rest!

In the meantime, thanks to Orlok and also GlassStanley, who did the legwork and is still pursuing those final gaps....

Amazing work! Now when are the collections coming out!
