On a recent trip to an actual High-street establishment I treated myself to some CD's.
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here. HMV Exeter have a small section devoted to Floyd re-masters. I'm not a huge follower of the band but I do own Dark Side... which is very good and The Wall, one of my favourite albums by any band. Anyway Wish You Were Here is a very good listen, especially if you
Toke on the Good stuff!Rotten Sound - Suffer to Abuse. Limited to 2500 copies and hand numbered. I was surprised to find such a limited edition item in a music shop, this sort of thing would normally by ordered direct from the website, or something. Only 7 tracks on the album, it's a good listen but lacks the intensity and brilliance of their first release, Cycles.
Cavalera Conspiracy - Psychosis. Outstanding album! A far cry from their first release, Inflikted, which I thought was OK at best. First track is called
Insane, which is an absolute belter. Highly recommended.
Radiohead - I might be wrong, Live recordings. Already owned but the disc had somehow broken a while back. Live versions of a selection of tracks from the Kid A and Amnesiac albums. Like Spinning Plates is a particular favourite and sounds very different from the original version.
