Don't suppose anybody knows how long this fulfilling lark takes...? 
First time ordering on Lulu so I was hoping a PDF order would be a little brisker.  (Work's proving to be unsettlingly quiet so I had my hopes up.)

Yeah, Lulu and I appear to have differing definitions of "a few minutes".  Not that I've been lurking refreshing the page instead of working, or anything.

I had some bother uploading the book's PDF... it crashed three times. Maybe there's site maintenance going on at weekends, then a backlog to process once the new week begins. Still annoying.

OK, so I've bought the pdf , downloaded the ebook reader from lulu.com, and can now read the file on my PC> How doI transfer the file onto my iPad?

Well, after a certain amount of wrestling with my erratic internet connection, Lulu's arcane practises and the hoops required to set up Adobe Digital Editions (I have been spoiled by the 2000adonline shop where you pays your money and gets your instant DRM-free PDF) I have my copy!  Wow, that's a lotta information.  It's going to take me all day just to scroll around bookmarking stuff I want to read.

The DRM is an experiment on my part, but if it proves a major hassle for readers, then it will be absent from any future editions of CITY OF DREDD/WORLDS OF DREDD.

hunans...  can tell I was on the phone...

About three years back my nephew was frontman for a Glam Rock band.  At a gig I emitted afore mentioned squeel... It starts high, goes higher & lasts a few seconds... People looked at him, accusingly, then saw it was the fat old man stood next to him...
