On his 21st birthday Axl Johnson finds out that his family are reincarnated Norse Gods and that he himself is Odin 

Axl is Odin, god of war, wisdom, pissups  and cannibal serial killers. In order to fulfil his destiny and restore the gods to their full powers he must find The Frigg or die which will apparently cause a catastrophy of Johnson murdering proportions


Mike is the eldest brother and reincarnation of Ullr, god of games and the hunt. He spends too much time doing a spiderman 'with great power comes great responsibility' thing and then re-discovers black jack and chills out.
He cheats at rock, paper, scissors.


Olaf is the grandfather to all the Johnson brothers and Baldr, god of rebirth, teenage mutant ninja turtles and a shitty oracle.


Anders is the reincarnation of Bragi, god of poetry, one night stands and dwarves. Anders uses his powers to sweet talk women into bed and to run his PR business


Ty is Hod, god of everything cold and dark, My Chemical Romance fans and Ben Stiller look-a-likes. His power causes him to make his surroundings slightly cooler and occasionally nearly freeze people to death.


Colin is the mortal vessel for Loki, god of fire, used car salesmen and dicks


Derrick is Thor, god of lightning, thunder, storms and scourge of rabbits everywhere. He also rocks a mean BBQ

Almighty Johnsons is a comedy/fantasy/drama series from New Zealand, it airs on SyFy here in the UK, about a family of reincarnated exiled Norse Gods. The youngest brother, Axl, finds out that he is Odin and must find the goddess Frigg in order to restore all the gods powers but the goddesses aren't too keen on this.

I've seen teh trailers for it on Syfy but not managed to catch it (presumably due to it clashing with something else) but will be keeping an eye out for it when it gets repeated.

I watched this expecting it to be pants. I really enjoyed it. Two episodes left for me.

I haven't watched it all, but of what I've seen, it's not bad at all. Quite amusing in places too.
