The Jam: Urban Adventure is certainly one from that side of the hero tracks I'd expect you'd enjoy.  If you can find it, that is.  It did hop companies a bit and I've not seen it collected, but it still ranks high on my own quirky heroes list.

The Jammer is an amazing character, probably the only superhero I like besides Paradax and Madman. X-statix were pretty fun too, combining Milligan and Allred was always going to be a winner.

The Jam creator Bernie Mireault just recently released his first full-length graphic novel (or as he calls it, his Big Ass Comic Book) which wraps up the Jam saga. He has said he plans to collect all the previous Jam adventures into a 3 volume set after he's finished remastering them.

You can see a bit about his new book "TO GET HER" on his website here... http://berniemireault.com/?page_id=2 where you can also see excerpts from the original Jam comics if you wanna check them out... http://berniemireault.com/?page_id=667

That's bloody sodding wonderful news about The Jam!  It's given me a bit of a buzz just knowing it's going to be out there in collection at last, and with new stuff available to boot.  Always great stuff to return to.  Thanks a lot for the nod on that, Ghostpockets.
So this is der place then, Johnny?
