It's better than paying Disney for it and I doubt the creators are getting any more money out of it.

Provided a link to this a while back on the Dredd movie thread, still have absolutely no compulsion or desire to watch it, and yes, it is indeed a horror film, just not in the good way... to the dark dungeon basement you go, you horrible film, and DIE like you ought to have, stuck in perpetual development hell...

In horror films categorie? Interesting :)

It's been at least 15 years since I saw it, so I started watching. In the first few minutes, thought to myself, "hey, they did a pretty good job of depicting Mega City One, maybe this isn't as bad as I remember it." Then Dredd pulled up and said his first line, and my finger spontaneously jumped to "close tab"  :D

Ive been watching full length movies (via my ATV) on YouTube for ages now, all 3 spiderman movies are on there along with Thor and both Iron Man. Something to do with movies of a certain age becoming 'public domain'
You ever notice that everyone who believes in creationism looks really unevolved? Eyes real close together, big furry hands and feet. "I believe God created me in one day." Yeah, looks like he rushed it.

It takes something like 50 years (I think it's more in the States), for something to become PD. I don't think Thor or any of the other movies you mention qualify.

Sorry, i meant to add that what i think is happening is that movies that become public domain are being uploaded (which seems to be OK) but other pillocks are also uploading newer movies and YouTube just don't have the resources to monitor whats legal and whats not. I dont think it will be long until we see YouTube being investigated by the people at SOPA. If its good enough for The Pirate Bay or MegaUpload then its good enough for YouTube. Web sites should not be allowed to hide behind a disclaimer clause and then profit from advertising on the back of it.

Noferatu? Public Domain. JD 1995? Pile of feckin shite, might as well make it PD.

This can not be a Judge Dredd film. But its not that bad even if u think this is an ordinary adventure film :)

Someone changed my mind completely with this film.  He said he liked it. I gave it the usual see-his-face etc.  It didn't matter to him as he hadn't read any of the comics. I realised not to compare one medium with another.  LoEG, for instance, had almost nothing to do with the comic.  But compare it to Indiana Jones and you can see it's audience.  In fact, one of my favourite films is the Time Machine (from 1960).  It's also one of my favourite books.  Yet, only a very basic similarity.

I reckon people in America, of a certain age, see the Stallone turd as simply one hilarious camp bit of old-skool nonsense with some cool visuals (city, robot, cyborg) thrown in for good measure: if you want to laugh at Stallone, and you have no notion of the character that it's pissing all over, I'm sure one can thoroughly enjoy it for the cheese-fest it is.

Except for Shneider, everbody's gotta hate Shneider.
