Maybe I'm getting soft in my old age but I'll throw this in the DVD from time to time.
It's not a great movie by any means but I thought the block war, mean machine and the ABC warrior were pretty cool.  Shneider, the budding love between Dredd and Hershey and the fact that Stallone is out of the judge uniform for almost the entire movie were the major problems with it.

I reckon people in America, of a certain age, see the Stallone turd as simply one hilarious camp bit of old-skool nonsense with some cool visuals (city, robot, cyborg) thrown in for good measure: if you want to laugh at Stallone, and you have no notion of the character that it's pissing all over, I'm sure one can thoroughly enjoy it for the cheese-fest it is.

Except for Shneider, everbody's gotta hate Shneider.

The people of America being huge fans of "camp, old-school nonsense" and laughing at their action heroes.

The Spanish language, bombast and aged quality of the footage makes that trailer look like something you'd find as an extra on the Grindhouse DVD.

...anyone notice the two judges at 0:38 reacting to the explosion before it happens?
You have never felt pain until you've trodden barefoot on an upturned lego brick..

Haven't seen this in years and just watched a few minutes. Blimey, it's showing it's age, isn't it?

For the record, I don't know why so many people go on about how good the city looks in Dredd 95 - I never thought it was a convincing representation of MC1, even at the time. It all looks so plasticy, naff and inconsistent, so generic 90s sci fi. Doesn't ever feel like a lived-in environment.

And they were used it in Batman Forever and Batman&Robin :(

It was an Asian knock-off of Blade Runner. That visualisation never did it for me, like everything else in the film.

Really? Do you mean they used the same look or the same models/images? I really liked the way Gotham looks all daft and OTT in Batman Forever. It suits a slightly more fun interpretation of the character.

It's been at least 15 years since I saw it, so I started watching. In the first few minutes, thought to myself, "hey, they did a pretty good job of depicting Mega City One, maybe this isn't as bad as I remember it." Then Dredd pulled up and said his first line, and my finger spontaneously jumped to "close tab"  :D

 That's exactly what i did too!

Easy to imagine a parody where Dredd rolls up, yells out "Ay Am --  Rah RAAW!!!!" and all the perps are like "what did he just say?"

sorry not see your post, well that OTT looks in both films ruined my imagine of Burton's visual of Batman.
