Yeah. Your wisdom is ledge, Green Man. Can you tell me which Kurt Vonnegut book he's tearing up for the fire, in Girl with the Dragon Tattoo ?

Dear Tharg, if you could only have one collected edition of an Ian Edginton-written series with you on a deserted asteroid, which one would it be?  And if you say "The Red Seas," could you please print all those volumes so that the rest of us Earthlets can enjoy it in book form as well?

In this anniversary year, has Tharg been tempted to approach some of the greats of yesteryear to make some sort of contribution? A few words maybe or a simple thank you or just a nonchalant nod of acknowledgment would be nice.
"Give a man a mask and he will give you the truth."

How would say.... a colourist apply for the comic... Or is Chris Blythe shackled Salacious Crumb-style to Tharg's boot? ;)

What would you do if your son was at home, crying all alone on the bathroom floor 'cos he's hungry and the only way to feed him is to sleep with a man for a little bit of money?
He's only trying to be what following how his dreams make you wanna be, man!

As an American, whatever happened to the Weekly Prog in North America plan? Is Diamond just to much of a problem?

Have you ever thought about teaming up with a North American publisher to simply print/distribute 2000 AD in the US to skip over the whole overseas importation issue? This could lead to lower US cover prices, which I see as a major hurtle in breaking into the US. Alternatively have you ever thought about having a NA publisher release a monthly 2000AD title collecting all the monthly content of regular 2000AD in a single issue?

But most importantly, when are Lobster Random and Red Seas gonna see some (further) trade support?!

What five collections would you say are the best introduction for someone who wants to understand what 2000 AD is all about these days, and why?

How far in advance of publication date do you know exactly what's going to be in each prog?

What's the longest-gestating serial that's still in the works and that we still haven't seen?

What makes a good pitch for a story idea?  Short and pithy big concept or detailed story breakdown?  Does it vary according to the project and your relationship with the writer?

How do you decide if a story is more suited to 2000AD or the Megazine?

How many script and artwork submissions do you get in a typical week/month?  Do you get more at certain times of year or after things like cons and publicity boosts?

Do you ever catch yourself accidentally using the name Tharg in your mortal guise outside of work?

As a follow up to Grant's question, will Tharg consider reprinting "The Red Seas" in case files format? Being all black-and-white it would be ideally suited for the format. Two or three volumes ought to do it, much like Robo Hunter or Ace Trucking.

That's gotta be Ichabod Azrael - seems like its been 'coming soon' for well over a year now.

Professor Bear

If there was enough demand for it from the more conservative readers - not necessarily just the scum here on the 2000ad forum, but long-time readers in general - would you consider dropping one strip from the prog line-up and using the money saved to replace it with colouring-in pages, little mazes, spot the difference puzzles and a cover-mounted toy like a Lawgiver-shaped water pistol or something similar?

O Lucky Stevie!

As Your Mightiness hails from a planet where everyone quite rightly has green skin does that mean that you've pink boogers?

Now that Shakara ihascompleted & Henry Flint is at a loose end is there any chance of some more post-Nemesis Termight action?
"We'll send all these nasty words to Aunt Jane. Don't you think that would be fun?"

James Stacey

As an addition to Stevie's question ..

If not, how can we get you to change your mind?
