Regarding the shoulder pad,it looks to me like is just under the edge of an industrial light. We have them at work, they give off a faint orange glow like a street lamp,on my big crane machine thingy in certain areas I have seen the same effect.

And the skin shot....eww,cool but eww.
Let the Dragon ride again on the winds of time.

You ain't seen nothing yet..
You have never felt pain until you've trodden barefoot on an upturned lego brick..

JOE SOAP

Doesn't look like a light effect, the colour seems to stop dead round the front and it has different shades of less and more gold on the part that rests on the arm, which wouldn't happen with lighting.

We're talkin' penetration (bullets that is) aren't we?

Not a fan of Dillon's version of the bike to be honest - the definitive retro version for me is early eighties McMahon, it's got enough curves in it to take away from the boxiness.

I've seen navy blue jumpers look yellow and it looks like that, just a trick of the light. Its the black padded piece under the 'bars' that reminded me of it.

Depends what era you're talking about. There's a side-on shot of the bike in Cry of the Werewolf that would serve as a great technical drawing for anyone building a replica lawmaster.

Steve Green

Pretty much any era. But that's just me.

In that story it's still too boxy at the front and rear wheel cowling, that and the Madonna tit on the front doesn't do it for me.

Much prefer the rounded McMahon/Cam Kennedy cowling, and making the laser shallower.

Light wouldn't account for the different thicknesses of gold on the arm end of the pad.

Could we get some of these threads merged together? I keep forgetting which one I last read.

Ha! You know, just for a minute, I forgot who I was talking to. Minty does an incredible job of making that design work in 3D and in motion, and of minimising the effect of the bits that don't work so well.

Dunno if anyone noticed and there's too may threads to check but the night shot of Mega City One has a McCarthy block. Awesome.

Cheers - for the record I love the updated lawmasters - Think it might have been Jim Murray who did the first revamp.

Best Lawsmaster artwork in Dredd comics always this by Greg Staples! What an action!

As the trailer has been premiered online will it still showing at the cinema?

Great, great trailer by the way. Well done to all involved. Hopefully this film will be a surprise hit and spawn a sequel or two. Should at least raise the profile of Dredd & 2000ad again, which ain't no bad thing.
