Peace is a lie, there's only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.

It looks pretty damn funny and early reviews are quite positive too.

Alternate trailer here that has the thunder buddy song :)

Looks like being the comedy of the year. Filthy, filthy stuff!

Do people really find this funny?

I just don't get it. I assume the comedy is supposed to come from the juxtaposition of the Teddy Bear, a symbol of childhood innocence, and the vulgar, sweary dialogue.

The last time this sort of thing was funny was Baby Herman in 'Who Framed Roger Rabbit?' and that was in 1988.

Paul (the alien), that bear off Bo Selecta and this new one all seem to be obvious and, frankly, pretty lame to me - in the same vain as a Wayan's brothers film.

Loving both Family Guy and American Dad as I do, I'm sure I'll get a kick out of this.

M.I.K.

Seth McFarlane has one idea. It's the one JamesC mentioned. It's wearing more than a bit thin.

So this isn't a movie version of those open-source internet lectures then? Ah well.

Professor Bear

I love the bit where it looks like it's building up to a punchline but it's just something that goes on for what feels like forever.  McFarlane should do that more often in his tv shows.

Roger Godpleton

He's only trying to be what following how his dreams make you wanna be, man!

No 1 box office in US. Not much in the way of marketing (as I know of). Maybe lionsgate are onto something with Dredd.

I think it's more likely that it appeals to the lowest common denominator.

I wasn't impressed with the footage I've seen, but this is apparently quite good.

Just funny

Nothing wrong with just funny.

Sometimes I wanna watch Rozencrantz and Guildenstern and laugh my arse off while marvelling at how fucking clever it is. Sometimes I wanna watch Laurel and Hardy have a 20 minute pie fight.
Dont think one makes me intelligent any more than the other makes me stupid.

I wouldn't normally consider myself a snob but in this case I suppose I am.

I love all sorts of comedy - things like Laurel and Hardy mentioned above IS clever, just clever in a different way to R&G are Dead. Not that my entertainment has to be clever all the time - I'm a big fan of schlocky horror films and love things like Jason Statham action films.

I suppose we all have to draw the line somewhere and I draw it at paying good money to watch a CGI teddybear saying Fuck.

If it's your thing though, I hope you enjoy it!
