Can we all just agree that the term 'lowest common denominator' can only justifiably used in relation to the likes of Meet the Spartans, Epic/Superhero/Disaster/Not Another Teen Movie, Vampires Suck etc etc.

At least Ted looks like a crafted piece of work - and has a rather touching story by all accounts.

I suppose we all have to draw the line somewhere and I draw it at paying good money to watch a CGI teddybear saying Fuck.

Unfortunately, that's my upper limit!

Seriously, though, I like Family Guy a lot, and this should be right up my street as it's the same guy. As has been mentioned, there seems to be much more of an actual storyline than the trailer hints at, but then the trailer knows exactly who the targer audience is and what they will find enticing.

Profanity can be awfully amusing when done well, and I trust that this will be done well.
