Seattle Times didn't

As I'm sure you noticed, that's the same article as the Vindy.
Missed that.

QuoteThe 3-D here is used to greatest effect in slow-motion shootings, impalings and throat slashings — blood-on-the-lens stuff. The villain is poorly drawn. The script lets her down, and Headey just isn't "big" enough, in persona, performance and presence, to suggest a murderous monster who ruthlessly slashed and intimidated her way to the top.

Thirlby is sensitive and cute as ever, funny when she has to be. She needs more to do.

And Urban is lost behind that big ol' helmet.

Positive, if rather dry and academic, review in the latest Sight And Sound magazine.
Also feature by Kim Newman and short interview with Alex Garland.

Absolutely, I can't believe how opposed my opinions are to those. It's like the reviewer lives in Opposites Land.

Steve Green

There aren't any impalings, throat slashings or blood on the lens.

If you're going to criticise, be accurate. It's your job.

Gagh.. No edit button..

Denver gave it 3 out of 4, but not for the reasons we would.

A lot of these reviews are syndicated like that yahoo one is the same as the Chicago Tribune.
