Worryingly, I've actually heard in a couple of podcasts of instances of people totally misinterpreting the ending of Dredd - and thinking Anderson quits when she gives Dredd her badge and storms off...

A lot of people also think Stallone is the original Dredd.. Not twigging that it's Anderson at the end is the least of our worries..

True but I think that shot might be confusing people.

I think they lifted that shot from the pre-assessment walk to the bikes scene, and stuck it at the end precisely because there was some confusion, so without doing any more expensive filming, they needed a shot that showed that she passed and became a judge.

Yeah I guess it's supposed to be peach trees, but she's carrying the helmet from what I remember and originally it's from the beginning but Dredd has been erased from the shot - presumably this was a shot that John suggested.

I can't remember that shot at the end at all, and I have seen it four times. Am I going nuts?

I can't remember that either,she just stormed off,last I saw she was pushing a  medic away?
