Here's another film SCI-FI film production that's only begun marketing 3 months before release with absolutely nothing released before it -this one costing $100 million and made by the Wachowskis - and again it's time enough to get people aware and doesn't cost half your production budget.

Thanks Mr Soap for post the link;

I remember read about it in Total Film or Empire last winter as it mentions about Cloud Atlas with about 6 different stories, there was just a single image in the article of a ship. Thought it's looks interesting, and forgot about it till you bring it up! What an amazing trailer and glad this trailer got subtitles!

*Pointless trivia, that same article mentions that Hugh Grant got 6 characters in the film!

Ghastly McNasty

That is a lovely trailer. After Martix, V for Vendetta & Speed Racer I always have high hopes for a Wachowski film. The book is pretty decent too.

Wow, never read the book but that looks all kinds of interesting.  All a bit confusing and even from that monster 5 minute trailer I'm not really sure what the hell it's supposed to be about (in a good way) buit I want to find out.  The future bit looked like it was out of an anime.

I saw Halle Berry filming this outside of our office windows. She was tiny. Gorgeous but tiny.
Be excellent to each other. And party on!

The bridge at 0m 56s is five minutes from my house. Note the Clackmannanshire Bridge's unique, entirely pointless and incredibly frustrating one-lane-only-on-the-Northbound-side design. I'm fairly sure that's not Halle Berry driving in that scene, though; the production's insurance wouldn't pay out if she was involved in another hit and run.
