Just saw this over on CBR. Looks like it's by Henry Flint, and is apparently something to do with a new Dredd series starting soon, building up to prog 1812 in December, where Tharg implies we'll get a whole-prog episode of Dredd.

Could this be something to do with Al Ewing's "The Cold Deck" - a story that he has been hyping up as 'big' for some time now...

One can only hope so.

I don't think it about Chess game, I guess it about all events in places to something biggest?

Can you see DREDD playing chess??

Steve Green

Imagined Dredd was more of a Twister person.

Wasn't Al Ewing's big thing aomething to do with the Dark Judges post DoC... or have I got things all topsy turvey there?

Either way this is intriguing. I take it this will be the 28 page special Dredd Prog, or at least start there?

radiator

No, John Wagner is writing a new Dark Judges series, with Greg Staples illustrating.

Arh right so I was getting it all topsy turvey after all. Can we all pretend I didn't say that and carry on....

I assumed it was something to do thematically with this:

Draw your own conclusions. Are we finally going to have Dredd's aging in real time dealt with...?

Leaving aside that people living longer in the future is a big part of Dredd's world, Dredd's age has been dealt with in real time since the Hitman story that came right after Oz, which was in 1988.  He's been griping about being too old for 24 years now.

Nipples instead of pawns?
Maybe Dredd is going for a sex change.
