#Judge Jack, from what I gather that will be the basic price.

Anyway folks, just look at what Nick Percival posted on facebook, it's a future cover for IDW and it is drokking stunning!

It is at times like this when I'm kind of glad that I never got into the whole variant cover thing. Not a slight against anyone who enjoys collecting such things, but for me its all about what lies between the covers that really counts.

I mean don't get me wrong, it is nice to see the different cover art, but that is about as far as it goes for me personally, outside of that very, very rare occasion when there is a particular piece of cover art that I really love and feel an overwhelming need to track down for myself.

Gotta say, I am very curious about this latest American take on Dredd, even if I may not be particularly optimistic about it. I'm sure it'll be something to talk about, at the very least. And who knows, maybe it'll even prove worthy in its own right...stranger things have happened. We shall see, I suppose.
Bloop.

Same here, though i just had to have the Carlos variant. Same with the Greg Staples cover for #2 - getting that was a no brainer, and ill be ordering that as soon as it pops up online. Hoping the inside contents are decent enough, and buying at least the first two issues should give us some idea of how its gonna be.

You don't have to buy all the variant covers you know?
You do get a choice.  ;)

I've never understood the whole variant cover thing either. I was still at school when singles began to be realeased with 12" remix versions, and I remember us all taking the piss out of a classmate who bought about a dozen different versions of Frankie Goes to Hollywood's Two Tribes in the same week.

COMMANDO FORCES

Here's a bit of info about issue 3.

"We've Got You Now!" In Mega-City One, kidnapping of the rich is a thing of the past, thanks to personal security droids. But a ruthless team of high-tech snatchers has come up with a cruel twist on the oldest racket on the books. They don't nab you. Just... a certain part of you. But the kidnappers may regret holding one of the city's most prominent citizens for ransom, because Judge Dredd's just signed on to be the bagman!
Plus: A shocking backup story with art by Langdon Foss that will leave you seeing double...
