I've been listening to this on a continuous loop in between going to see the film several times.  I have to say, the way the music ties in with the action is just brilliant.

This.
I love the opening sequence just after the credits, you have the Dredd monologue with that tense slow beat and then it kicks up to higher gear as we cut to the Dredd in pursuit segment...it's quite brilliantly done and was bloody exhilarating at the cinema.
Soundtrack in general is just great.

I'm with everyone on the annoyance about the physical disc not being available yet. Don't these people realise that MP3's are just files and not part of a collection!

Anyway, off to see Dredd for the 3rd time this afternoon and really must pay more attention to the soundtrack whilst Easter Egg hunting.

You can burn your own audio CD from the MP3 files, you know... If it's bothering people that much, I'll knock up a PDF inlay that you can download and print out yourself, so your home-burnt CD looks all nice and official...!

(I got quite good at this in years gone by -- you can pop out the tray that holds the CD inside the case and put in a back insert that folds up and even give you a 'spine'.)

Jim,

Thanks for the offer but for me it is as much to do with my record collection as it is to do with my 2000ad collection, I am a terrible snob for the original article  ;)

COMMANDO FORCES

The physical CD is now available for pre-order on Play.com for £9.99, still nothing on Amazon!

Ordered mine :D

Without giving out the names of the tracks on this thread , shouldn't tracks 1 and 22 be reversed?

Mega City One is the first track in the film but the first track on the CD is the last but the people who compile and arrange track-listings often go for the most upfront/signature track to boot off the CD. Track 22 shouldn't be first though.

I assumed it would be
apocalyptic wasteland
as that was what we saw heading towards the city.

Mega City One was the track that started the film. Apocalyptic Wasteland comes later.

All of Drokk should be on the disc as a hidden track.
