SEPTEMBER ART COMP - FINAL DAYS

Being now at the limit of my arsom skillz, if I try and polish this entry any more it will truly turn into a tu... poorer example of enthusiasm-over-artistry.
Looking at it (even while I was doing it, though it was too late by then!) I realised I've made every mistake possible.  Fanwank plot, cluttered layouts, clunky dialogue... and that's even before we get to the artistic skills that would make a kindergarten teacher snort out loud!  And the lettering!  Oh, the lettering!  That's bad.  That really, really sucks - and I'm the bloke what done it.
In fact, you could just scroll down to the final page and take that as an entry but this comp gave me something to fill some free time with so I wanted to see how we might get there.  And possibly burn out some small measure of my ignorance of how I might do something better less shit next time.
And if you can't do a fanwank (fank?) plot for a competition like this, when can you?

Thankyou, Supes.  I particularly enjoyed getting Helen Mirren to pose for that final image and plan to release her back into the wild once the voting's over.  That's right!  Vote for me or Helen Mirren gets it!
